PROJECT: The female side of the mountains
ascents, women, worlds

The stimulus that pushes a woman, just like a man, to go into the mountains, to practice alpinism, isn’t a useless quest, self exaltation or reaching the top.
Alpinism today is dominated by reaching the top at any cost leaving space for ever more difficult routes. The level of difficulty grows constantly in all areas of alpinism and women are following men in their steps achieving the same difficulty as men on rock and ice.
But women still haven’t claimed their own way of mountaineering.
This project attempts to find the useful side to mountaineering and offers the experience of direct contact, on ice and rock for children who have never had the possibility of mountaineering.

The project doesn’t intend to be uniquely female but also to act as a stimulus in the male world of alpinism
